superintendents blend Superintendents
Blend
Superintendents BlendTM is a proprietary blend of pine and hardwood oak bark that is manufactured for nursery and golf course superintendents. It has a natural reddish color from the pine bark and the water retention properties of a hardwood bark. The pine bark also releases nitrogen as it returns to the soil, allowing flowering plantings such as azaleas to last longer and grow bigger and healthier. Superintendents BlendTM is also a wonderful protector of flowering trees such as crape myrtles, dogwoods and other indigenous trees that flower in the hot summer months of the south.
